In the Yahoo group, the word kijetesantakalu is presented by jan Sonja as an April Fools' Day joke: “Although some of the new words I am considering are still in the testing phase, I can safely say that one word that has made the cut is "kijetesantakalu", a noun for any animal from the Procyonidae family, such as raccoons, coatis, kinkajous, olingos, ringtails and cacomistles. I took it from the Finnish word kierteishäntäkarhu, meaning kinkajou.”^[1]

It is first available at the Somera Esperanto-Studado (Summer Esperanto Study) 2013, a week-long event that takes place every summer in Martin, Slovakia. jan Sonja writes a preface praising the relationship between Esperanto and Toki Pona and expressing thanks to jan Male and Eliazar Parra Cárdena. The second edition appears during the Konferenco pri Aplikoj de Esperanto en Scienco kaj Tekniko 2014 in Modra, Slovakia.^[16]^[17]

The Toki Pona article on Wikipedia reaches its peak. Before the video usually about 200 people visited the page every day. On the day of the publication it is 650, the next day the number reaches as high as 1819, and the two following days, 997 and 633, respectively.^[42]
