Hi, welcome to Wikipesija! Thanks for your edit to the ma Nosiki page.
In response to your question: Toki Pona does not have to be awfully easy, if you understand that precise translations from other languages are actually not at home in it. You always need to communicate within the particular context and explain the idea only as deeply as it is required for your overall message to get through. For "island", I would say "ma lon telo". This is supported also by a Google search which reveals some dictionary page with the same translation.ale li pona! Blahma (talk) 12:14, tenpo mun pi nanpa luka 28, 2013 (UTC)
Pona for your reply. I'm aware of the interesting idea of ignoring the modern demand for precision. However, the problem is that Wikipesija has only a small nanpa of very basic articles, some of them quite repetitive. If there were a short dictionary of say 3000 English or French words, we could expand the amount of material available. You may not think that's worth doing; I do, because this is such an interesting experiment. ale li pona! Novparl (talk) 11:38, tenpo mun pi nanpa luka 30, 2013 (UTC)
